Artist Description
The versatile 9-piece Bob Gray Orchestra plays both the big band \"swing sound\" (including waltzes, cha chas, and rumbas) and rock with some vocals. The band consists of two trumpets, two trombones, one alto sax, keyboard, guitar, electric bass, and drums. The library is specially written so that the five horns and rhythm can sound very close to that of a big band. All of the musicians are top-callibre performers who also perform in many area musical organizations ranging from the Dayton Philharmonic and Springfield Symphony to big bands, lounge groups, and combos. Members also perform for Broadway show national tours and play in backup groups for international stars.
